MPRC Staff


MPRC Staff provide the following services in tandem with the work they do for the Minnesota Institute of Public Health (MIPH).

Kevin Spading, Project Director.
Responsible for overall project management, collaboration with numerous organizations, agencies and community groups working on prevention issues, assessment of prevention-related needs and subsequent strategic planning and development of new print materials.

Katie Zientara, Associate Project Director.
Responsible for implementing the project's strategic plan, assuring delivery of MPRC contract objectives. Also coordinates the annual Program Sharing Conference, the activities of MPRC's Regional Prevention Consultants and MPRC's clearinghouse of prevention materials.

Tou Thai Lee, Prevention Specialist and Assistant Clearinghouse Coordinator.
Responsible for assisting the Associate Director with delivery of workplan objectives. Communicates with, and provides evidence-based technical assistance to, state-funded coalitions. Also: assists with clearinghouse requests and personally distributes resources at conferences, exhibits and meetings.

Tanya Prahl, Communications Coordinator
Responsible for coordinating the development, revision and printing of publications and for overseeing promotional item production; working with media placement and marketing of MPRC and its services.

Carlos Morales, Systems Analyst
Works with all phases of information technology including systems set-up, troubleshooting and Web design and development. Provides training on issues related to prevention and technology.

Lynne Gosselin, Grants Assistant
Responsible for coordinating and submitting quarterly and year-end reports, updating mailing list database, distributing Prevention Forum flyers and Prevention with Impact newsletters, helping to coordinate conferences including handling all aspects of conference registration.

Cherie Magdziarz, Customer Service Representative
Performs data entry of library acquisitions, ensuring accuracy of library catalog records and assists with processing of conference and workshop registrations.
